Here at Fork Truck Direct we’re delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Certificate of Accreditation by the UK’s foremost authority on materials handling: the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA).
To be considered for this we underwent a 100-point onsite audit to ensure consistently high standards and compliance across areas of business operations, including safety, health, environmental and risk management.
FLTA Compliance Manager Lee Medway, who carried out the audit explains why the process is so important: “The audit is designed to give customers real peace of mind. As members of the FLTA we have to follow a Code of Practice laid out by the FLTA that show we are competent to offer expert advice and provide the most appropriate equipment to our customers. It is great to be able to take part in the assessment and also to have passed with flying colours, giving our customers even more confidence when they come to us for the forklift needs.
