Designed for maximum operator comfort and efficiency, the -9 Series features a 50% larger floor plate, concealed tilt cylinder, and a fully redesigned ‘full floating’ cabin with curved glass panels that reduce cabin noise to just 79 dB and significantly minimise vibration. The forklift’s panoramic visibility is enhanced by its wide, rounded glass surfaces and contoured cowl design—further optimised by the optional FFT wide-view mast for improved forward visibility in high-traffic environments. Compliance with performance
At the core of these trucks is the advanced G2 Doosan Bobcat diesel engine, specifically designed for industrial vehicles. It delivers high torque at low RPM, improving forklift acceleration, drive, and climbing performance. Notably, the inherently clean G2 engine, when fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), fully complies with Euro Stage V regulations. During normal operation, the DPF regenerates automatically while driving, maximizing uptime and ensuring consistent, uninterrupted performance.
A key cost-saving feature of the new range is the multi-torque function, which lets the operator choose the performance best suited to the task. ECO mode reduces fuel consumption by limiting unnecessary acceleration, High mode boosts power output for heavy-duty work, and Standard mode maintains optimal performance for everyday tasks.
Safety first
Safety is a top priority throughout Doosan Bobcat's new 9-Series, as demonstrated by the many design features already highlighted. Additional key safety features include:
- Electronic parking brake: when the operator stops working and gets off the truck, the parking brake is automatically activated.
- Operator sensing system: whenever the operator leaves the seat, the truck travel and mast lifting functions will stop. This system avoids any unintended forklift movements when the operator is not seated.
- Automatic deceleration: without the operator’s foot on the accelerator pedal, the truck will automatically decelerate quickly to the minimum speed.
- Seat belt sequence interlock: the seat belt needs to be fastened when the operator is seated in order to operate the truck.
